Six-week guided runic training to learn and utilize the runes. We will journey through the oldest form of the runes, the Elder Futhark, and their ancient Nordic magick.

When brought into your life, runes can be used as a tool for your spiritual journey.

As you build a relationship with the runes, they will help clarify your path, and strengthen your soul’s magick through their shamanic essence.

The Ancient Runes

Runes, otherwise known as the Elder Futhark, are ancient Nordic symbols that became the origin of the old Norse alphabet and language. Each letter contains a story with magical properties connected to the cosmos of the universe. When spoken aloud the rune emits a certain sound frequency, to transform or amplify certain energy the rune worker intends to work with.

Runes have been used for thousands of years yet are not widely known or understood by many. Their magick is mysterious to the public eye, but special souls are called in to learn and utilize their medicine (you).

In Runic School, you will learn the runes to communicate with the spirit world, to receive guidance on your path, or to work with the symbols for energetic power in your practice.

Learning the runes from a reliable source and origin will place you on the right path to create a solid rune practice. Briöna will pass down masterful teachings from the teachers before her and her relationship to the runes, gods, and goddesses.

Explore different methods of utilizing the power and frequency of the runes as well as creating bind runes for enhanced everyday magick. Experience the runes, the Gods, and the spirit of northern magick through guided Shamanic Journies led by Briöna.

It all began 5 years ago when I met my husband who introduced me to the runes. Ever since the runes became apart of my world they have enhanced my life. My magick strengthened, my practices felt more powerful, and my connection to my Nordic ancestors began to flourish. The runes then lead me to my shamanic path in 2022, where I then became traditionally trained in the ancient symbols from my rune master and shamanic teacher.

Now I am so honored and ready to pass on their wisdom and magick to you and witness the runes support you along your spiritual path as well.

Important Common Question

Do you need shared ancestry to work with the Norse Gods or Runes?

Norse Gods and Goddesses work with those who are open, ready, curious, and connected in any way to the runes or northern magick.

They do not turn their backs to those simply based on DNA or ancestry. They often meet folks from all backgrounds through symbols, dreams, or a deep inner calling first.

My own runic students who don’t share any Norse ancestry have had PROFOUND experiences with the runes and the Gods, spirits, and magick connected to them. In the beginning, they were surprised by how deeply they connected to them, but over time, it’s become second nature.

This is not a closed shamanic practice, all our welcome.

Format and details of this course…

  • This course will run for 6 weeks, including live group calls for students each week we are in session. (6 calls total).

    Week 1: We begin with a welcome week which will serve as an introduction.

    Week 2: We will focus on a group of runes known as Freyja’s 8, covering her 8 runes and their medicine.

    Week 3: We will focus on a group of runes known as Heimdell’s 8, covering his 8 runes and their medicine.

    Week 4: We will focus on a group of runes known as Tyr’s 8, covering his 8 runes and their medicine.

    Week 5: Dedicated practice session, Bind Rune teaching, as well as deep dive Q&A

    Week 6: Dedicated practice session as well as final deep dive Q&A and celebration!

    I suggest you can focus on one section a week or longer if you like. (lean into your own learning style)

    When you sign up you will be automatically enrolled and welcomed to begin your indtroduction inside Runic School before our first group gathering on zoom.

  • TIP ONE: Throughout Runic School, you will be encouraged to practice on your own time and with classmates in the live gatherings and dedicated Facebook group.

    TIP TWO: It is highly suggested to watch and practice the current weeks content before you attend a live gathering, but not required. You will be prompted each week to help you keep on track of schedule.

    TIP THREE: Classes will be held on Sunday Evening MST. You may be joined by passed rune school practitioners who are often eager to connect and practice with new students, so make friends and find practice mates!

How to enroll in runic school

Runic School Enrollment opens this January 2025, and closes February to begin our journey together as a group. Our live calls will be held on Sundays 6pm EST/ 4pm MST and will be recorded for those who don’t align with making these times.

There are only two enrollment periods for Runic School (winter + summer).

Runic School will have EARLY BIRD pricing 20% off of the course for the first 4 days of open enrollment.
